As we grow, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join Menard Canada Inc.’s BC team. The Project Coordinator supports the implementation of projects by coordinating activities, monitoring work, and communicating with stakeholders. He/she contributes to the respect of deadlines, costs, and quality requirements, under the supervision of the Project Implementation Manager and the Director of Operations.
The position of Project Coordinator is part of Menard Canada’s Operations Department. Employees under this department coordinate the management and implementation of projects in the field, from the feasibility study to the final delivery. He or she is responsible for planning, organising and monitoring construction sites, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and efficiency standards. Operations teams work closely with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success and partner satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge
- Geotechnical knowledge, junior engineer level
- Soil and/or foundation improvement techniques
- Knowledge in the seismic field (liquefaction, soil-structure analysis) (Asset)
- Knowledge of the environment (regulations, in-situ and ex-situ treatment) (Asset)
Technical skills
- Geotechnical engineering and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cost estimation and pricing
- Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards and practices
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively in meetings and conferences

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field

- Experience: AutoCad or Civil 3D (Asset)
