A No-Spoil, Highly Effective Approach to Ground Improvement
Vibro Compaction is a ground improvement method for stabilizing loose granular soils and some specific fill types for in-situ densification. It significantly densifies the soil by using a down-hole probe that vibrates at very high frequencies. Together with a managed volume of water added, localized liquefaction of the soil is caused.
How it Works
The Vibro Compaction technique allows the soil particles to rearrange themselves in a much denser formation and, therefore, increases the overall density and strength of the existing soils by significantly reducing any settlement and minimizing any differential settlement. Vibro Compaction has a very wide range of uses and can be used for parking areas, runways, roadways, and many other types of areas requiring ground improvement for a solid foundation.
