SPRING IN VANCOUVER – A beautiful blossoming day at our Vancouver office.
To start the year, Menard Canada Inc. has been recognized by WorkSafe BC as one of 4 companies as innovators for controlling worker exposure during welding operations. We are identified as a “New Thinker” in welding and monitoring fumes and gases. This has been accomplished through hard work and innovation of our employees in the Vancouver yard. Our very own Lam Le is featured on the cover & Drago Ranisavljevic featured in the article. We will continue to influence and improve the safety culture surrounding us.
We at Menard Canada realize that the future of the construction industry is placed in the hands of tomorrow’s leaders. We believe that the empowerment of students today will benefit the innovations of the future. We continue to sponsor & participate in events such as BCIT’s Civil Engineering Professional Night, where we can present technical trends whilst networking with young minds.
BCIT Professional night is a platform for 1st through 4th years BCIT Civil engineering students to get involved in activities that promote the Civil engineering community beyond what is presented in the course curriculum.
This year Menard Canada was a platinum sponsor of the event. Our technical manager, Vincent Chang, a BCIT alumnus, presented our recent brand change to the audience with a corporate video stating our history and our future.
We look forward to participating in more events with BCIT.
